Tasha knew it was reckless, dangerous and stupid, but she marched down to Fury's office after he talk with Steve and layed it on the line. Not all of it of course, but the Director wasn't blind with that one eye of his. He could tell Agent Romanoff was taking far more than simply a professional interest in Steve Rogers. Wisely, he didn't call her on it.

After hours, she finally had the clearance, the team of lower level agents to help them, the files on how Erskine had done it and a hell of a lot of motivation to get the man she...whatever it was she was feeling for Steve, back to being the first Avenger.

Now all she had to do was convince Steve he could stop hiding and come with. You can't make Captain America if you don't have the key ingredient.

"Feels like they are..." He replied, breathing even quicker.

Tasha considers for a moment they're around a bunch of other agents on this plane. People will talk and it might not be pretty.

But she doesn't care. She presses her lips against his softly, trying to calm and comfort him. "Then don't let them." Tasha says with clear conviction.

Steves breathed in deeply through his nose as she kissed him, trying to steady his breathing.

She'll keep kissing him until he calms down. Slowly, gently with more tenderness than Natasha thought herself capable of. She doesn't care if anyone stares, or talks or there's some stupid office pool that gets started about them. She wants Steve to be himself again. She knows the serum doesn't make him the man he is, but it gives him the confidence he needs to be the man hiding inside him right now. Hopefully she can help him find a little of that inner strength.

Slowly, Steve started to breath better. He returned her kiss gently before resting his forehead against hers.

"We'll get through this." She promises, actually nuzzling against him. Natasha feels like a complete idiot now. Not only is she emotional, in the middle of a very critical mission, but she's dragging a guy who was turned down by the military how many times into the middle of a cluster fuck. If he dies because she talked him into this, she'll never forgive herself.

Steve closed his eyes, nodding as he leant his head against hers. Feeling as if he needed her to help him through.

Natasha will keep her arms around him as long as it takes. The whole plane ride if needed.

"I'm.... i'm okay... doctors said my asthma would probably come back badly for a bit."

"We have better medication for that now." She picks her head up, nodding to one of the agents watching them. Tasha shoots a hard almost dangerous look at the man watching them before he goes off to check the medical supplies for something for Steve's asthma

"I'll be fine..." Steve replied, closing his eyes as he rested his head back. Hoping that he was right because he didn't want his asthma to be the reason they screwed something up.

"Better safe than sorry." She took a bottle of medication from the agent as well as an old style inhaler. She's not even sure if they had treatments like this in Steve's time.

Steve frowned when he looked at the inhaler. "What's that?"

"Medication." She explains, rather clinically at that. "This contains a pressurized unit that propels a chemical into your lungs to treat inflammation by addressing the way your immune system reacts to things that cause your airways to constrict which leads to an asthma attack."

Simple, huh?

Steves brow furrowed as she explained it, wondering if he understood it right.

"It'll help, I promise." She takes it from him for a quick demonstration of how an inhaler works then passes it back. "The pills work to suppress the reaction before it even happens. The inhaler is for emergencies."

Steve looked at them before nodding. "Okay. Hope they stop it from getting in the way of things."

"if you have a problem fall back and stay hidden. There's lots of places to hide here if I remember it correctly." Oh, damn it. That was probably too much information.

"If you remember... you've been there?"

Tasha looks down, clearly uncomfortable talking about this but she'll push through, for him. "Remember when I mentioned the things I'd done...how I wasn't aware of a lot of it?"

"Yeah, I remember..." He replied, brow furrowed as he ducked his head and tried to look into her eyes.

"There was a program." Natasha pushes through, nervously flexing her fingers in and out of fists. "When I was younger. They adopted little girls who didn't have parents anymore, trained them, used them. They called it the Black Widow program. I was one of the first." She sighs, clearly nervous saying this out loud. She won't be telling him everything, just enough that he knows that she knows this is the right place to look. When she's done being uncomfortable, of course.

Steves lips parted, looking at her as she spoke. Trying to take it all in.

"Are you going to eb okay going back there? We don't have to if you're not..."

"You won't be OK if I don't go back there." It's as simply as that, really. "But, I didn't exactly leave on good terms. There could be trouble but I'll handle it."
