The past year or so has been REALLY screwed up on the RL front, lots of you know that. If you didn't? Well you know now.

All the...everything kinda came to a head yesterday afternoon. I'm relieved, happy and terrified at the same time. It's left me in a strange sort of mental state. One second I'm fine, the next I'm crying, the next I'm giggling in happiness, the next I'm like a magpie with a shiny object and zoned out. It's fucked up and exhausting, but there it is.

Anyway, Long story short, I'm laggy, I'm scattered and I'm sorry if I leave anyone hanging or get intently focused on one thing while things settle. Stuff I owe is bookmarked/loggedand I'll get on it when my minds in a more stable place. Promise.

Days off. I have them! Or I will starting tonight. That means all those back tags, and emails and AIM logs are getting addressed. I know. I'm excited, too!

I'm trying to switch all my threads over to third person perspective prose and paragraph style on LJ. If you don't want to reply to me in that style that's fine, but I'm going to try and stick to one form of writing. It makes tagging faster and more natural for me.
It's been said before but here we go again. Natasha isn't your OC Marvel!Spawn's mama. She's not your wife, either. (unless you're nolongeracarnyand we're in flashforward land. Or if you play a canon spouse I'll roll with it as I can.) Otherwise, STOP pushing your headcanon on me. NOW!

It has come to my attention that Madame Natasha has received over 1150 comments since May 18th 2012 on her threads.

That's just *covers Steve & Steph's ears* HOLY FUCK! O.O

I just wanted to take a sec to thank each and every one of you for helping me get her voice back after a VERRRRY long hiatus, before which I barely played her at all. The threads have been amazing. I've laughed, I've cried, I've screamed at my screen, I've wibbled so hard I have to tell people about it. I've learned so much about the Marvel verse and there's so much more to learn. The CR is something that makes it hard for me to step away from the screen because I want the scene to go forward and see what happens between the chars. (Thanks for the all nighters and lack of sleep. You know who you are.) This is truly the most fun I've had RPing in a canon based setting since I started three years ago on twitter.

People may bash this fandom for being trendy, they may call it a bandwagon, but damn it this wagon is one of the best damned wagons around and

Just got my hot little hands on the Black Widow comic series from 2010. In this is a nifty lil' section called "The Black Widow Files." Like all good marketing ploys, it lists all the comics and GNs that the information is from so... *gets on Amazon and buys EVERYTHING*

As always, if MCU canon contradicts comic canon, film > comic. It's just easier that way. However I will be working in things that fit Natasha's existing profile and RP canon, (Like hardly blinking while having surgery under no anesthesia. OMFG!) and using the comics as personality and character study.
